MuslimTravelQuest is an independent planning resource for Malaysian Muslims who holiday in Asia. We help you choose a destination that fits your faith needs, understand what a halal or Muslim-friendly claim really says, and fit prayer into each day.
Who is this site for?
It is for any Malaysian planning a trip abroad with Muslim needs in mind, whatever their level of practice.
- Parents planning a first family trip overseas.
- Couples, and women travelling solo or in women-only groups.
- Adult children taking older parents.
- Organisers of mosque, office or alumni groups.
- Non-Muslim Malaysians travelling with Muslim friends, colleagues or in-laws.
We do not judge how anyone practises. We give you the facts so you can decide by your own standard.
What do we actually do?
We explain destinations, compare Muslim-tour packages, and show you how to check a claim before you trust it. Our methodology page sets out how we separate certified halal from operator-declared, Muslim-owned, Muslim-friendly, pork-free and unknown.

What is our role?
We are an independent planning resource: bookings are made with a licensed travel agency or directly with airlines and hotels. We explain how to check a halal claim and leave the judgement to you and the issuing body. For questions of fiqh, please ask your own ustaz or the state mufti office.
Umrah and Hajj are outside what we cover.
How are we paid?
We may receive a referral fee from a licensed Malaysian travel agency that we introduce to you, and we tell you before you decide. The full wording is on the referral disclosure page.
Who runs it?
MuslimTravelQuest is run by a small planning team. We have not yet published business registration or contact details beyond WhatsApp, and we will add them to this page when they are confirmed.
