MuslimTravelQuest gives general planning information. This page sets out what that means, so you know where our help ends and your own checking begins.

Are you a tour operator or travel agent?

No. We do not sell tours, flights, hotels or insurance, and we do not take bookings or payments. Your contract is with the licensed agency, airline or hotel you book with. We may introduce a licensed Malaysian agency, and the referral disclosure explains how we may be paid for that.

Are you a halal certifier?

No. We do not inspect kitchens or issue or verify certificates. We never call a named restaurant, hotel, airline meal or tour halal or certified. Our methodology page shows how to check a claim yourself and decide by your own standard.

Is this religious advice?

No. We explain the practical side of travelling as a Muslim. For a ruling, such as jamak, qasar, fasting while travelling or what counts as halal for you, please ask your own ustaz or the state mufti office.

Can I rely on the facts?

We source each fact from the official page named in our fact bank and note when we last read it. Entry rules, festival dates, opening arrangements and similar details change. Please check the official page before you fly, book or eat.

We do not accept responsibility for losses that follow from relying on a page without checking the source. This does not limit any right you have under Malaysian law.

What about other websites?

We link to official and third-party pages. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their claims.

What is not covered?

Umrah and Hajj are outside our scope. Medical, legal, immigration and insurance questions belong with the right professional or the official body.

What if I find a mistake?

Message us on WhatsApp with the page name and, if you can, an official source. We correct pages as described in our editorial policy.
