Planning tools for halal, prayer and stays

You have the facts and the quotes, and you want a clear way to compare them.

These five tools turn what you have collected into a decision. Each one takes the quotes, schedules or room details you already have and sorts them by what is promised, what is shown and what is still unknown.

A tool does not certify a restaurant, hotel or tour, and it does not rule on what counts as halal for you. It helps you see gaps and write the question that closes them.

How should you use these tools?

Write your own rule in one line first. Then pick the tool that matches the decision in front of you, and read the linked guide if an input is unclear. Run the same tool again when an agent replies with new details.

Which tools help with meals?

Use these when the question is whether a meal arrangement holds up. The comparison tool scores the claim state, and the brief generator writes the question to send.

Which tool helps with prayer stops?

Use the checklist on any itinerary, your own or an agent’s. The two guides show what to ask when a day has no room for prayer.

Which tool compares tour packages?

Use the comparator when you hold two or more offers. The guides explain how to read each line before you enter it.

Which tool helps with hotel rooms and privacy?

Use the builder to turn your needs into a request, after you have tested the hotel’s own claim.

Where next?

If you are still choosing between hubs, the Muslim tour packages hub covers comparison in depth, and the hotels, rooms and privacy hub covers stays. You can also return to the topics page.

If you would like a second pair of eyes, send us the quotes you are comparing and your one-line meal rule, and we will help you read the gaps.

Common questions

Which tool should I open first?

Open the one that matches your biggest worry. If it is food, start with the meal-assurance comparison tool. If it is time to pray, use the prayer-stop checklist. If you have two quotes, use the inclusion comparator. For hotels, use the stay requirements builder.

Do the tools tell me whether a restaurant or hotel is halal?

No. They help you sort what you have been told and what you have seen, so you can compare offers by claim state. A tool cannot certify anything. You still decide by your own standard, and you can ask your ustaz or state mufti office.

What do I need before I use a comparison tool?

The quotes or itineraries you have received, and a one-line rule for your family, such as certificate only or Muslim-owned with no alcohol. Having the rule first stops the tool from becoming a way to postpone a decision.

Can I use the tools if I am travelling with a mixed-observance family?

Yes. Agree the rule with the family first, then run each offer against it. Where members differ, run the tool twice, once per rule, and see which offer fits both.

What if the tool shows gaps everywhere?

A gap means nobody has shown evidence yet, not that the offer is bad. Turn each gap into a question using the briefing generator, and send it to the agency or hotel before you pay.
